Armenia

Australia-Armenia relations

Australia has a friendly bilateral relationship with Armenia. Diplomatic relations were established in January 1992.

Australia's Ambassador to Armenia is resident in Russia, while in 2022 Armenia accredited an Ambassador to Australia (based in Japan).

The bilateral relationship is underpinned by strong people-to-people links. Parliaments in both countries maintain Armenia-Australia parliamentary friendship groups. The Armenian community in Australia engages parliamentarians at the federal and state levels.

Economic and trade information is available in the Armenia fact sheet.
